Teamwork To Attain Uncommon Results

Poster entitled Teamwork of crew shell on water with quote below

Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.

Ladder Against Wrong Wall

If the ladder is not leaning against the right wall, every step we take just gets us to the wrong place faster.

We See Things As We Are Conditioned

Each of us tends to think we see things as they are, that we are objective. But this is not the case. We see the world, not as it is, but as we are — or, as we are conditioned to see it.

Call Ourselves Objective

Until we take how we see ourselves (and how we see others) into account, we will be unable to understand how others see and feel about themselves and their world. Unaware, we will project our intentions on their behavior and call ourselves objective.

I Trust My Inner Wisdom

I consciously validate my perceptions. I count myself as a valuable, insightful, and objective observer of life. Looking at my life and my situation, I applaud my capacity for wise choices, discerning actions. I am more clear-eyed and perceptive than I have often thought. At this time I consciously recall situations in which my own clarity and send of the unfolding of events were borne out to be true and accurate. Rather than focus on the times when I have made mistakes or suffered errors of judgment, I focus instead on the many times when I have seen clearly, acted properly, and been rewarded for my wisdom by a happy unfolding of events. My acuity is a great blessing for me and others.
